Uddingston Music Festival

February 11, 2017 by

A great wee day out at Uddingston Music Festival.

Workshop with Nigel Gatherer AM, invaded Tunnock’s tea room for lunch, and enjoyed a big session PM with Boyd Tunnock joining the band.  More pics to follow.

Anyone lost a black music stand?  Still at church but we might be able to get it back to you without you trailing to the church.

Lost a black umbrella with white raindrops logo?  I have it.image

We played for about 50 mins before dinner and enjoyed the speeches and raffle.

A lovely night out.

Pollok House, Burns Supper

January 16, 2017 by

Scratchy had fun playing background music at a Burns Supper at Pollok House on Saturday We put on our gladrags and played our socks off! I think we got the sound about right despite the tricky acoustics. Afterwards enjoyed haggis, neeps and tatties in the Servants’ Hall – we know our place! Thanks to Lynne, Cass and the team at Pollok for the lovely haggis and neeps, delicious! Enjoy the photos below..
