Daffodil Day, Greenbank Garden, Sunday 13 April

Had a fun day playing our music in the sitooterie at Greenbank House today. Bedecked in our daffy hats we had fun playing a variety of tunes, some with harmonies and some straight through, growing in confidence as the day went on. We ventured out into the gazebo vacated by the most beautiful owls as it was too windy for them. We played there for a little while but found it a bit too windy too so returned to the comfort of the house for the rest of the day. We also had the chance to see the wonderful display of daffodils in the house, amazing to see so many varieties in one place. We were very well looked after by the Friends of Greenbank enjoying their delicious home baking. Have to make particular mention of the Commonwealth biscuits, they were gorgeous and I ate far too many! Thanks to everyone at Greenbank for looking after us all so well and making us feel so welcome, to the visitors, who we hope enjoyed our music, and to all you Scratchers for making the day such fun. Here’s to our next gig!

A host of golden daffodils or maybe just a few!
