A Day of Scratching

by

Today we had a workshop in Dram.  First of all we practiced some of the tunes from our usual list and then Finlay Allison came along and helped us improve our offerings of Reel of Tullochgorm and Thistle of Scotland the latter of which we tried in a set with Stronsay Wedding.

The tuition was fun – with dancing thrown in!

After tea we ran through the GFW slow session tunes.  Jim was in charge – so I got to do most of the intros…..lucky you!

Some of us then headed down to the GFW very slow session at Curlers bar for even more music.

Good day out.  Thanks to all for making it so!
