Some of us who are doing some tunes at a Burns event had a practice tonight.
We had a great laugh at the recordings we made to critique. Davie thinks they are too poor to be put on the blog – sorry folks – I thought they were better than I expected!
One more practice for these and we are going to go for it. It is for fun and despite my mistakes (Iain made me do them) I think we enjoyed practicing.

Oh go on – put the tunes up. Can it really be worse than our CD?

Oh yes – and the CD is growing on me – maybe Calum’s Road will too!

Ha, you’d better watch Calum’s Road (or Davie’s road) doesn’t get on top of you!

I’ve just gone off it again. Is there a tune about the wet, winding, pot hole road to Kilbirnie?

Hey, that’s one of north ayrshire’s best roads you’re talking about!

Did you build it yourself?

No but I added the potholes all on my own with only a barrow and a pick with no help from the council and only Celtic Music Radio for company.
