Gig Report 16th October Erskine Hospital

Really enjoyed the gig today and was surprised that some of the audience told us they did too – and asked us to come back again!

Sure there were mistakes but overall most of the tunes sounded good and we kept good timing as a group.

Unfortunately we were bottom of the bill again but it was explained that if we go on a Monday we get to be top of the bill đŸ˜‰

Hope you all had good time.  More photos to follow when I get them.

I got too excited and went home and bought that bass guitar I have been coveting so all I need to do now is work out how to play it……

Just remember this one doesn’t go under the chin!

You do know that a bass guitar doesn’t have an F, I assume that’s why you got it?

Ahh! We may have been bottom of the weekly bill but as we were the final act on sunday, I calculate we were top of the bill ahead of the Sunday mail crossword and quiz. So there!!

Who’s the wee girl with half a head in the photo?

Thoroughly enjoyed the Erskine experience. Thought the performance was quite polished. The practice certainly helped. Stevie did a good job with the audience introductions for each set and being mc for the day. Thanks must go to Erskine management for providing the sandwiches and refreshments at the break. Good coffee – honest. Thanks also to Stevie and Valerie for organising such a successful day. Well done.

Typical Bodhran player, hogging the spotlight!

  7. Stevie Says:

I’m just pleased the light isn’t shining off me, well done Ian.
