5 fiddles,  a guitar, a banjo and the odd go on a whistle and tambourine made for a fun day at Drumpellier whilst the cyclists made their way over the finish line after their charity cycle for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.  The Scottish section of thier website is at:  http://leukaemialymphomaresearch.org.uk/near-you/scotland.

More information about the event will be posted at the event facebook page www.facebook.com/LLRGlasgowBikeathon where we already get a mention

We are also mentioned at the Leukaemia and Lymphoma Scottish Facebook site http://www.facebook.com/llrscotland

Got a bit windy at times so we took the sides of the tent and hoped it wouldn’t rain and our wish was granted.

Guy on the PA system bigged us up and told people about forthcoming enrollment at Glasgow Fiddle Workshops for a wide range of instruments and song.

We can’t have been too bad as there were some suggestions we could do with amplifiers.  Made me laugh anyway.

Just as we were about to launch into Scarce o’ Tatties the lady from ‘Healthy Options’ catering van kindly ‘sponsored’ us with some baked tatties and tasty fillings.  The tatties were great.
